The rocks just don’t deserve more than an hour or two (especially with the annoying noise coming from the motorway nearby). We felt it was definitely worth it for the convenience.We toured Stonehenge at sunset with a tour company called Evan Evans.

Always been fascinated by Stonehenge and will surely go one day – maybe they’ll have figured out the answers to all questions by then! flying into LHR T3 about 9am and staying at a local Bath rd hotel.. a private car to from hotel to Stonehenge, 1 hour wait and return to hotel is £150 not sure it's worth $236 + $12.50 admission just to see a few rocks.. i plan on spending the following day in … But, in real life? At least they have the free audio guides though so you can learn as you walk through.I’m fascinated by history, too, and I’d love to visit someday!

Have a good dayI’m just a small-town Ohio girl trying to balance a “normal” life with a desire to discover the world beyond my Midwest bubble. There is so much we don’t know about these eras and the fact that dolmens and temples have survived makes them worthy of our attention, in my opinion. But I do think he was exaggerating–after hearing his rant I imagined it behind a fence, 100 yards back, you need binoculars… it doesn’t look THAT bad! We definitely say While we were there, we marveled at the stones and wondered what it must have taken to move the stones over so many miles.
