A polo shirt or aloha shirt (the most important element for "resort" wear being that it is a shirt with a collar for men, is what I've found online). It had a list a mile long of what would not be allowed in the night club and it made us laugh. We do like to make an expensive restaurant a "dress-up event" on our visits.Other than fine dining for 2-3 meals, we will mostly eat at our condo or at more casual restaurants. I am sure some have actual requirements, but there are any number of places I just won't wear shorts to and Lahaina Grill is one of them.
