Richard Jay Montgomery, Jr., age 38 of Regents Center, Lexington passed away suddenly Wednesday evening April 22, 2020. He also worked as Operations Manager for Superior Aero Services at the Davidson County Airport in Lexington, NC. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Clara Watts Fulk, of King, NC; grandfathers, Tommy Lowe, Sr. of Naples, FL and John Montgomery of White City, OR; and aunt, Marilyn Montgomery-Lokken, of White City, OR.Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Angela Lowe of Linwood, NC; father, Richard Montgomery, Sr., and step-mother, Lupe Montgomery, of San Diego, CA; brother, Bryce Montgomery (Chelsea) of San Diego, CA; sister, Tori Wells (Robert) of Lawsonville, NC; grandmother, Mildred Montgomery, San Diego, CA; uncle, Tommy Lowe (Susan) of Albion, MI; aunts, Janet Diven (Todd) of College Station, TX and Charlotte Lusk (Jeff) of Central Point, OR; many cousins, nieces and nephews, including one very special nephew, Matthew Griffith, of Lawsonville, NC and also his beloved cats, Athena, Bushy, Piper and Cessna.

He graduated from Crater High School with the Class of 1999. Richard graduated from Davidson County Community College with an Associate's Degree in Applied Sciences and became a Paramedic with National Registry Certification.
