I am aware of the support of ECC RAM on this platform. The high base clock of 3.5 GHz will be very good for poker solver based workloads, such as we see in applications like Monkersolver.When optimizing for poker solvers, graphics cards do not currently play a significant role in the calculation process. It's not about the need... It's more about the why not.. and the can I. It is an overall solid and feature rich board that allows for overclocking at a decent price point.
My primary use will be running few VMs in VMware workstation Pro and GNS3/QEMU. 750 bucks buy you used enterprise gear with a similar core count including RAM and drives.3 PCIe 4.0 x16 slots with optimized lane arrangement of 3-way x8/x8/x8 to accelerate an increasingly diverse array of workloadI highly doubt you need 12 cores.On the other hand, Ryzen seems to be smoking Intel in just every non-gaming test thrown at it.
