The Solo Plus 16 6 Solo/Tandem is a 16 by 6 hull with three seats & designed to be used as both a solo or tandem canoe.. You can add a seat to some tandems for solo use, but most are too wide to reach the water easily from the center. The Wenonah Solo Plus is designed for people who want both the freedom of a solo canoe and the companion-ability of a tandem. Leaving just the center seat it could haul sufficient gear, my 65lb.
