LIBERTY MUTUAL STILL RAISES RATES!Outstanding rates and better Coverage!
This was a tiny shaving of coverages and it brought my premium down 10%, so although it went up 23%, by the time "I" tweaked it, I settled for a 13% increase which I was fine with.
I explained that what he said and the paperwork I received did not jibe.
i looked at the documents online and my signature could not be found someone signed on my "behalf". When I called on the 7th day, they said it would take another 6 days! Good customer service, payroll deduction, Customer service always talks to me like they have always known me.Liberty Mutual started with reasonable price and has steadily gone upI received a call first thing the next morning letting me know which local shops I could take the car to, and that they'd cover the rental for 30 days while the car was being fixed.
I contacted her and she told me that she did send the cancellation but does not have proof of such.
It took them a year to close it out .
So I cancelled my policy with liberty mutual. Great People!! A few months ago the rate skyrocketed from $1523 to $2375 per year, an increase of $852! You must answer what you will consider doing in my case or I will take it further. They have accident and ticket forgiveness, but nothing more serious.I am checking for Insurance coverage because Liberty Mutual sent a letter saying, they have decided not to renew our policy.Couldn't get through on phone. But costs are rising and need to see if anyone else offers better rates!Liberty Mutual did a classic “bait and switch” on us. Liberty wouldn’t do a thing for me. Shame on this company, 2,500 a year should be a crimeHad a claim to replace roof. They said our only recourse was to hire our own adjuster. I had an auto accident with a LM customer. Not only was that illegal and immoral, but unfair if it's not something they are going to continue to give me. After 2 decades of taking my money, I was given short responses (some of which were copy and pasted excerpts from other emails that made little sense) at times with 5 days of silence between them like I was being a nuisance. However, they are raising rates again for no apparent reason - over 60% in two years!Today, a week before we leave, I called to make the change and was told that what I had been told was not the case, that, in fact, I had to have a policy with Liberty Mutual for our primary residence (where we're moving to) in order to make the change. Most of their complaints seem to be case-specific, referencing claims that were handled in an unsatisfactory way — and the insurer responded to all complaints in a timely manner.Liberty Mutual is a financially strong insurer that keeps it simple with term and whole life policies.
